He played his collegiate golf at the Alabama University where he won the Crimson Tide 6 times. He also won the Haskins Award for being the most outstanding player in collegiate golf. He played for the national championship of 2013.

Professional Career

Justin Thomas turned professional in 2013, and through the qualifying school, he earned his first tour card on the Web.com Tour. His first professional win came in during the 2014 edition of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. The professional golfer managed the fifth place at the 2014 edition of the Web.com Tour, and third place at the Web.com Tour finals. Justin Thomas earned his PGA Tour card to participate in the 2015 season.

In 2015, the professional golfer racked in an impressive seven top 10s and 15 top 25s. He finished fourth place in both the Sanderson Farms Championship and the Quicken Loans National. He failed to clinch the Rookie of the Year award after finishing at the 32nd spot at the 2015 PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup.

The professional golfer earned his first win on the PGA Tour after taking home the win for the CIMB Classic held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to his record, his best finish ever in a major event was at the PGA Championship in 2015 where he tied for the third position at the 2016 edition of the Players Championship. He then defended his title successfully at the CIMB Classic in 2016.

Under his belt, the golfer has 2 amateur wins and 5 professional wins, with 4 PGA Tour wins.
