Jordan Alexander Spieth is an American golfer currently playing on the PGA Tour. He is a former number 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking. He won the 2015 edition of the FedEx Cup and has won twice the major tournaments. Spieth won his first major tournament at the 2015 edition of the Masters Tournament, and this victory earned him a $1.8 million prize. He also took home the win for the 2015 U.S. Open, having scored 5-under-par, and he made history for being the second youngest to ever win the coveted trophy. Amateur Career

Spieth was born in Dallas, Texas. In his career as an amateur, the golfer racked up a solid record for winning several tournaments. For instance, he won the U.S. Junior Amateur Cup in 2009 and 2011.
